Is my skin Dry or Dehydrated? How do I know and what can I do to fix it?

Is my skin Dry or Dehydrated?  How do I know and what can I do?

Very simply dry skin is actually a skin type and it means that your skin lacks oil. This can sometimes be genetic but can also occur over time as you age or maybe due to health conditions.

Whereas dehydrated skin is temporary and means there’s a lack of water in your skin this maybe due to a damaged skin barrier from over exposure to the environment or using too many active ingredients.

Both these conditions can feel very similar:

For example

1. Your skin feels rough to touch

2. It may be dry, flakey and itchy

3. It feels tight – especially after cleansing

4. It looks dull – lacks radiance

5.  Your skin is more prone to sensitivities – may have red blotches

The solution for both conditions is to provide your skin with super hydrating organic skincare products to really moisturise your skin and give you back your radiance! And also for good skin health! After all your skin is the body’s largest organ and needs to be looked after!

Our Dream Cream will do exactly that – it’s our most popular product in our range! It’s a rich restorative treatment cream, packed with skin-loving organic ingredients. And is also available as a Dream Cream Bundle (with great savings).

Our Super Hydrating Serum can be used before moisturiser for a skin boost! It’s a milky serum and quickly penetrates the deeper layers of the skin, making it idea as a preliminary hydration before Dream Cream.  See our Super Skin Hydration Special

And for extremely dry skin, I recommend mixing 1 pump of Argan Gold with 1 pump of Dream Cream in the palm of your hand and apply to your face preferably at night time – your thirsty skin will love it, and you will notice a difference to your skin in the morning! Argan Gold is a moisture booster and the combination with Dream Cream is ideal.

So if you have dry or dehydrated skin it’s really important to make sure you moisturise regularly with a good hydrating cream to help avoid any long term damage to your skin.

And remember Beauties, you are never too old or too you to start looking after your skin!
