Our products are packed with 100% Certified Organic & naturally grown ingredients. Our products are guaranteed free from sorbolene, mineral oils, petroleum products, paraben preservatives and other chemical preservatives, artificial colours and fragrances. We do not use or repackage or re-label other peoples generic “base creams”. We are a luxury boutique organic skincare business. With a passion for making heavenly creams, from beginning to end, each one of our exclusive products has been carefully formulated and created by us, to offer you a totally genuine and fresh natural organic skin care range.

What is the shelf life of your products?
Our products have an unopened shelf life of approximately 18 months from the date of manufacture. We recommend that on opening and using the product correctly, the shelf life will be approximately 6 months. The ingredients are active and need to be used. The best way to keep your skincare fresh - is to use it daily!

How do I store your products?
Because our products are fresh, please store below 30 degrees C and away from direct sunlight. It is preferable to keep products in a draw or cupboard and away from heat sources. If you live in a very hot and/or humid climate, please store products in the refrigerator.

Why use a Special Cleansing Cloth?
Our special muslin cleansing cloths act as a gentle exfoliator to help remove dead skin cells every day, helping to make your skin look fresh & bright. Our special muslin cleansing cloths enhance daily cleansing and we recommend you use it to remove elly b purifying cleanser or elly b coconut cream cleanser. Launder in the usual way.

Do you use Preservatives?
Yes of course we do! The difference between our products and the majority of other skin care products is that our preservatives are all natural. We use a natural preserving system blending herbal extracts and potent antioxidants to create a truly natural skincare product. We do not use synthetic/chemical preservatives (ie parabens or preservatives containing formaldehyde).

Do you test on animals?
No, elly b ORGANIC SKINCARE products have been tested on human volunteers only.

Do you use any animal products in your products?
Our products do not contain any animal ingredients. However we do use bee hive products - honey and beeswax. All products are suitable for vegetarians.

Why do products vary sometimes?
There may be slight variations in the colour and texture of individual products as the organic & natural ingredients are not highly refined, and season conditions may vary their growing conditions.

Why do you use glass jars?
We use recyclable blue glass jars and aluminium bottles to protect our products from sunlight, andt to avoid the break down of our precious active ingredients.

Do you use sunscreen in your products?
Whilst some oils have a naturally occurring ability to act as a sunscreen, we do not add sunscreen to our products as it may affect those with sensitive skins.

Patch Testing?
We recommend a patch test is carried out prior to your first application of our products.
